Platelet Rich Plasma/Platelet Rich Fribrin, or PRP/PRF, is one of the most natural ways to rejuvenate your skin! These treatments stimulate cell growth within your body by using the plasma in your own blood. PRP/PRF can be used for your face, tops of hands, hair loss, or infused topically in combination with microneedling.

When will I see results?

Results will depend on which treatment you receive.

For microneedling with PRP/PRF, results commonly become noticeable one week after treatment and continue to improve with time as collagen production increases.

When treating skin concerns such as melasma and deep lines/wrinkles, it can take several treatments before noticing results.

For PRP/PRF injections to scalp (for hair loss) or under eyes/facial injections, it can take 2-8 weeks to start seeing results. We recommend a series of 3 to really make a difference!

How long do results last?

Results from treatment are permanent. We like to pair PRP/PRF with a tailored skincare regime so that you continue changing and improving the skin!

Does it hurt?

Topical numbing cream is applied for 30 minutes to reduce discomfort during the treatment.

Any side effects I should know about?

The most common side effects include bleeding, bruising, swelling and redness. These most commonly improve within 1-3 days after treatment.

When can I wear makeup again?

We recommend waiting 24 hours before applying makeup.

What is the downtime? Can I go back to work after my treatment?

You can go back to work, depending on what you do! We recommend no sun, sweating, or exercise for 36 hours after treatment.

I'm pregnant or breastfeeding. Can I get microneedling?

We recommend receiving clearance from your OBGYN prior to treatment if pregnant or breastfeeding.
