What does it feel like?

Patients report a tingly or a mild snap sensation. Most patients report to tolerate the treatment well with no or very minimal discomfort.

When will I see results?

You will notice that your pigment will darken over the next 5-7 days and then flake off, revealing radiant skin in 7-10 days! Lumecca provides excellent results in 1-3 sessions. After just a single session, patients notice significant improvements in their complexion and clarity of the skin.

What is the downtime?

Very minimal downtime, redness and mild swelling are common for 12-24 hours after treatment. Depending on the severity of underlaying pigment, each patient will experience a different recovery and social downtime. However, make-up can be applied immediately post-treatment so most people do return to their normal activities right away.

How many treatment sessions will I need?

Recommended treatment protocol is a series of three sessions. However, most patients do see a significant improvement in just 1-2 sessions compared to a standard IPL which require 4-6 sessions.
